Ayurveda and Yoga:
Ayurveda literally means “knowledge of life/longevity” and is the sister science to Yoga. It is the oldest system of medicine in the world and still widely practiced today. Yet, it remains unchanged and relevant as ever in our modern world full of stress, motion, and change. Ayurveda provides a highly individualized system of care and addresses healing at the root.
Yoga means, “to yoke” or “to bind”. Along with Ayurveda, Yoga gives 8 limbs or methods in which we can learn to unite our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. In doing so, this can bring us closer to peace and balance while exploring our own personal human experience.
